Claire is a research affiliate at metaLAB doing research on image perception in the field of art, design and psychology. Her current focus consists of analyzing interaction processes between images. She works and teaches as a senior researcher at the Academy of Art and Design FHNW in Basel, Switzerland.
Claire completed her training as a graphic designer at the Basel School of Design and worked in various design agencies as well as a freelance designer in the LaRed collective. She did a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a focus on visual perception at the University of Basel and completed her further education with a master’s degree in visual communication and iconic research. Claire also conducts research on image perception at the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Basel, where she is currently doing her doctorate in empirical aesthetics.
